Sandy Point Road

This is the second home Bakker Homes has designed and built for this client, and we take that as the highest compliment. When clients return, it reflects great design, a lasting relationship, quality construction and honest advice from start to finish.

What began as an existing two-bedroom home was completely reimagined by Bakker Homes into a spacious four-bedroom, two-bathroom residence with an additional powder room, designed for modern family living.

Rather than simply adding more space, our design-and-construct approach focused on creating a home that felt cohesive, considered and entirely new. The reworked floor plan introduced generous open-plan living, a contemporary kitchen and improved connection between the home’s key spaces.

A restrained palette of warm timber, soft neutrals and natural stone brings texture throughout, with curved detailing, feature tiling and brushed brass adding subtle character. The bathrooms continue the same relaxed aesthetic with vaulted ceilings, natural light and refined finishes.

The result is a complete transformation—taking a modest existing home and giving it a new identity, greater functionality and a distinctly contemporary coastal feel.
